CO wins $8.51. </font> Ok so...I am really disappointed obviously in how these hands played out. The villain in the first hand was a 54/6 so I didn't really give him credit for a higher flush than mine...obviously a big mistake. As for the 2nd hand the villain with the queens was running 23/5. My thought process from the second hand was that I was pot committed and that I had a lot of outs left for a higher two pair/trips/flush etc... Now I kind of realize I might of gotten away from the hand due to pot odds. I guess making overcalls is one of my bigger flaws. Anyways I would appreciate your opinions. p.s. sorry for the format...couldn't get the twoplustwo format to work for some reason. |

Re: 2 spew hands in a row @ 5NL
Hand 1 looks fine. The only close decision is on the river, against some players check/call would be a better line. Betting is fine too though especially if you are aggro and would expect to get called by small flushes.
Hand 2 your flop bet needs to be pot-sized or real close to it, otherwise you are pricing in the draws. |
