Re: $11 NLTRN - 25/50: what is villain\'s range here?
[ QUOTE ]
His range cannot be determined because all hands have odds to call if you only minraise. [/ QUOTE ] Do you find most $11 players are taking odds into great consideration? So do you think he folds no hands to the cbet? Do you think there are no hands he flatcalls with? He's check-called before, as I've said. Alright let's try this a different way. What (and why) is your response to villain's raise if you have: 1. 7s8s 2. As9s 3. 55 (one spade) |

[ QUOTE ] 1. shove 2. shove 3. hmmm...call? [/ QUOTE ] Reasoning? [/ QUOTE ] for 1 and 2 i say shove because their both in pretty good shape almost always, often >50% making it +EV #3, i cant fold it to a maniac opponent but am also a little uneasy about shoving it so i'd probably just call and re-evaluate the turn |

Re: $11 NLTRN - 25/50: what is villain\'s range here?
This is a bluff very often. With you flush draw and the overs, you have already near to 50% equity, add the fold equity and this is a standard shove. With the 55, Im torn between shoving the flop and calling and calling/shoving the turn on a non-spade.
I expect him to bluffshove the turn a fair amount of the time, plus he likely shoves draws that didn't come in and any pair. The only problem is you cannot really call a turn shove when a spade comes, allowing him to bluff you off the best hand. |
