A7o in BB, top pair/bad flush draw vs steal.
Villain is running like 50/30 with a 50+% ATSB over small sample. Earlier I stole with 98o, bet down a Q-high board and spiked a 9 on the river vs his A8o. Also called down a low board vs his PFR with A-high earlier, turns out he flopped a straight w/87s. Also attempted a c/r bluff with a turned flush draw.

Anything to do but c/c here? Help with a river plan plz. |

When you peeled the flop what card were you hoping to catch? Why wouldn't you want to C/R here?

Re: A7o in BB, top pair/bad flush draw vs steal.
I'm calling down unimproved most of the time. C/r is prob worst option here, folding worse hands that fire the river and getting 3-balled by everything else, or ending up in a really bad river spot. It also really sucks when villain takes a free card, although it's probably never happening here.
Mostly, I'm trying to figure how to get max value on turn/river; I can't really figure a good river plan, which is why I posted the hand. |
