Re: The Unit (Season 3)
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] The idea that Ryan killed Hector is pretty retarded in my view. totally goes against the Ryan character [/ QUOTE ]The whole affair with Tiffy goes against the Ryan character also. In pretty much every respect, he's a stand-up guy, who cares deeply about his Unit and the men in his unit. No way a man in that position has an affair with the wife of one of his men. [/ QUOTE ] The reason to think that Ryan had something to do with killing Hector is that for the most part there's no pont in Hec seeing Tiffy and Ryan together and the end of the prior ep. |

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
yea, at this point I'll be mad if Ryan DIDN'T kill hector...because it just makes hector seeing them completely moot...it'd be a lame cop out.
Good episode, not a big fan of jonas going rambo though |

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
Wow I so disagree. Guys bang buddys' wives/gfs. HUGE leap to say they'd kill them. Not even in the same zip code.
I have no problem believing Ryan would bang Tiffy and still take a bullet for Mac or Hector. Guys do crazy things when it comes to women. |

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
CE,
We're not saying it makes sense/wouldn't be retarded, it's just that the show seems to be pushing things in that direction. I also think plot wise, Ryan turning out to be a bastard on that level would be interesting. |

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
I have one question. *IF* Ryan did have Hector killed, how in the world did the shooter hit him perfectly in a vital area with one shot thru a covered truck?

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
I think you're right in terms of his character, that he would probably sooner take a bullet for them before killing them. That being said, I hate the idea of the show ditching that storyline with a random death. It just makes no sense to me.

Re: The Unit (Season 3)
Maybe Hector seeing them together was just the writers (clumsy) tool to show the viewers that this was still going on?

Would have made more sense probably to have Betty Blue be the one at the motel..but he didn't have a girl that I'm aware of. Why would Brown,Mack,or anyone else be at that motel to spot them? I don't think they did it to create a whole drama/tension between Ryan/Hector. Was this the last episode due to strike? I mean I have to assume the planned to kill Hector pre strike but u never know |
