$16 - AK vs unknown BE player
How is this?
I forgot to click start in PT, so not stats. I sharkscoped him before acting and he was pretty much BE after 3000 games. Re: $16 - AK vs unknown BE player
You either need to call or shove over his initial raise, depending on the player and situation I'll do both. Generally if I'm a bit short I'll shove, and if I have a decent stack I'll call.

Re: $16 - AK vs unknown BE player
I agree with what other posters have said. Call, at this level, with your stack. See a flop and play some poker.
As played, once you 3-bet, you have to call his 4-bet. Committing your whole stack preflop, with an unmade hand, in the early stages, seems unnecessary. |

Re: $16 - AK vs unknown BE player
Stop with the "unmade hand" thingie already, it's two cards that have an equity against a range, just like any other two cards.

Re: $16 - AK vs unknown BE player
Going broke in this spot, this early is not wise. You disagree?

Re: $16 - AK vs unknown BE player
Going broke is never good.
Hero played the hand with positive expectation. You disagree? |
