River play.
FW 20/40
Game is currently 7 handed. Villain has been at table for maybe 2 orbits and is a young asian kid, possibly looking back now a 2+2er. Hero is in 2nd position with KJ. Hero opens. Folds to villain in BB who 3 bets. Heads up. Flop is K92 Check, check Turn is a 2 Check, I bet, call. River is useless, no flush or straight. Check, I bet again, villain raises... Action? |

Re: River play.
Are you suggesting that maybe you should have folded? This is an easy call. You've underrepresented your hand here, so villain could be making this play with a wide range. I think we need to ask ourselves "What hand could we have that checks the flop and that villain would expect us to pay off with?"
I think it's more likely he's taking a shot at you than you're beat. While we're at it, I think you should have bet the flop, too. |

Re: River play.
I don't see what beats you unless BB is horrible, which is likely. Maybe he spiked x to his pp on the river?
I think you have to call here. Villians line is just so bizarre. Nothing here makes sense at all. C/c on the turn with something that already beats you intending a river sexy just doesn't add up, especially after you checked the flop. BTW, bet that flop. |

Re: River play.
His flop check makes 0 sense with any conceivable hand with the exception fo maybe a flopped set which he should still bet. This is just too retarded to be a bluff but I call anyway. Holla

Re: River play.
Why did you check the flop? This seems like a much easier hand to play if you bet out here. As played I can't see not calling the river, he can't put you on a good K the way you played it.

Re: River play.
did you check the flop so that you could underrep your hand and induce a bluff on a big street? if so your plan worked perfectly.
