1-2 NL Live
All unknowns to me... Sat down around two rounds ago, won a couple small pots, nothing out of line from anyone so far...
Im sitting with $200, everyone in hand covers The standard $5 straddle on the hand... Two limpers, I limp in CO with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], SB, BB complete, and straddle checks... Flop 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB bets 10, BB fold, straddle folds, MP raises to 40, I (Re raise to 100~ intending to call a shove? Or call looking to get it in on a blank turn?) Another thing real quick, is this a raising hand PF? To 25 ~ 30 In position, on two limpers? |

Re: 1-2 NL Live
Given your stack size I actually think you just going all in for the $195 or whatever you have might have been the better play. By raising to $100 you are showing huge strength since you would be pot committed anyway. If you go all in you may get a call from AT, KT, etc. thinking you have some sort of draw like J9 or that you are just a donk which would help your table image anyway.
As far as raising preflop, I guess that would be an option if you are comfortable playing LAG. |

Re: 1-2 NL Live
Don't like raising PF live since you're probably going to get a bunch of calls. As played, definitely reraise.

Re: 1-2 NL Live
No advantages to just smooth calling then getting it in on the turn?
