NL25 Turn flush after c/r combo draw
I'm basically only curious on what you guys do on the river here. We both have about 2/3 PSB behind and I was about 90% sure he boated. However, this is a limped pot so villain's range is much wider than just a flopped set. villain's only been at the table a few hands so no reads to speak of.
my standard line is to just shove since all checking would do is lose a ton of value from the biggish hands I beat if they check behind; flopped 2, poorly played overpairs, straights (althought a lot of players wouldn't check a straight through on the river). if I feel like he boated is it stupid to check and hope to save a few BB's if he bets like 1/2 pot on the river instead of shoving? or should getting value from straights/2p take priority here? Re: NL25 Turn flush after c/r combo draw
Villain can have way more hands than a boat here. Straight, poorly played overpair, lower flush, trip 6's, something like Ad8x.. I think a shove maximizes EV here as most of those hands are more likely to call all-in then to bet all-in themselves.
