Default NL200, JJ gets 3bet by 18/10...

Villian is 18/10 over 450 hands.

What do you do here PF, and if you see the flop, what is your plan

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Hero ($206.15)
MP ($27.10)
CO ($260.45)
Button ($350.95)
SB ($311.05)
BB ($207)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with , .
Hero raises to $7</font>, 1 fold</font>, CO raises to $18</font>, 3 folds</font>, Hero ??

also, what if this 3bet was to ~23 does that change your line at all?

call for set value, dont fold this.... think about the implied odds.

if that was his goal, hero does have enough of a stack to actually this for set value since the 3bet was small...

that being said, i would play it for way more than that, but yea, this is a call

I'm not saying I'd fold PF (we don't know anything about his 3-bet tendencies). I would call PF, just not solely for setvalue like ADK is advocating.

It's 15 to call to win almost 230 effective including what's in the pot already. It's close as per the dbitel theorem but JJ is just too strong a hand to fold outright for that small of a raise. Villain is practically screaming his hand range out loud so you can almost always stack him when you hit a set and you'll rarely end up paying him off on dry, raggy flops.
