I like betting the flop here.

As played I like a c/c more than a b/c

i dont really get the river bet, an ace just hit and you bet small. what hands does he call with and what hands does he raise over you here. do you think hell call a larger river bet with AK.

unless your bet sizing is designed to induce a river shove and you have no problem stacking here then i dont like the river bet.

reasons for flop check? I assume you're snap-calling a river shove?

I would prob ch/c the river, but I dunno.

I feel like there is alot of lost value in this hand, and I'm not sure where to start. All I know is I hate checking flop/turn and then donking river. I think it's the worst line for extracting value. I'm almost certain I would have bet the flop, and if not, then definitely the turn.

I like leading the turn and river.

With the river donk, I think your hand is face up as AhKx or AQ, so I wouldn't be thrilled with calling a shove. That said, I expect him to almost never shove.

There are a bunch of layers to this hand that make it quite complicated.

For example there is a danger of getting raised off a better hand on the turn because I didn't bet the flop.

Also, I did not know to what extent villain could be tricky enough to slowplay a big hand preflop, which made me very unsure how to play postflop.

I think not betting the flop was a mistake. However, let's say he calls what the hell do I do on the turn? The pot is gonna get big insanely fast.

if you feel this is the case, then when you bet the turn and he raises, don't fold.

in a vacuum, the only hand I would be worried about on this board is QQ, and that hand is very unlikely.

from my experience TAGs cold-calling 3-bets = TT/JJ (and to a lesser extent QQ and 99).

if you bet the flop and get called, i think we still need to assume you're ahead, so the next step is to get value from worse hands
