BB is loooose ~50% VPIP & 12% PF raise after 30 hands. The flop shove seems suicidal, but his range includes most hands. |

Re: $3/45 turbo - 88 in CO
I think going all-in pre-flop would have been the safer play, but I don't think you're line is wrong at all. You do have position after all, and aren't so low that you can't risk seeing a flop. I think you're push on the flop was definately the right play. His play up to this point shows no strength, and if the donkey is slow-playing his A3, good for him, and better luck next game.

In the future, don't post the hand results. It makes it harder for us to be objective when critiquing the play.

Re: $3/45 turbo - 88 in CO
Thanks Art.
I'll hide the results next time. Most of the time I shove 66+ in LP and cross my fingers, So I know this is a weak bet. I'm basically asking for a shove/reraise here if they have a hand, because they can count on the BB calling/raising if they flat call.. and they can count on me instashoving the flop. If the button or SB (Both TAG) left to act PF raised me allin, could folding 88 PF be a good play? I don't think I could fold here.. They both have respected my image so far, and I'm stealing relatively little. I can't see them putting me on 88 or less, So I'd have to expect a coin flip at best HU. If both of them pushed in after me, I'd muck the 88... Is that too weak? This is what frustrates me about the 11x-15x range.. There's no room for error. Depending on the players left to act, I sometimes have a hard time shoving 11xbb with AJs/88 MP into a loose table.. especially in these $3/45 turbos where people think J9s is monster preflop no matter who is in the hand. It's probably just me expecting to be called by a marginal hand, or locked in a 3-way pot, or of course 99+ I'm still trying to weed out my results-based logic.
