Has moderation even been good for the site? I wasn't reading for very long before moderators showed up, but it seems to me that the major impacts of having moderators have been ceaseless whining about moderators, allusions to TOP SECRET MOD DRAMA, and the stealing of our trainwrecks. None of these things seem very salutary.
