Re: Shooting
[ QUOTE ]
Do not use this word when you are playing or discussing golf. Those who do are not golfers. [/ QUOTE ] This is so dumb I don't even know what to do with it. Classic case of "deer in headlights in the shooting forum", I suppose. |

Re: Shooting
Do not refer to golf grips as "handles".

Re: Shooting
JTrout,
The only handle in my bag is the Jack Daniel's hiding in the oversized back pouch. |

I'm going to go for a quick lap with my new bats. If I lose more than three pills in the p*iss I'll be lidless.

Re: Shooting
Jack Nicklaus says shooting: "Would I object, if I made it to 90, to hitting a ball off the first tee for old times' sake? No. But would I like going around Augusta, shooting 85 on a regular basis? No. I don't want to shoot 85 anywhere. I don't like shooting 75. That's pathetic for someone like myself who has worked his tail off."
Arnold Palmer says shooting(twice in one sentence): "I enjoyed today. But I don't enjoy shooting scores like I'm shooting." etc. etc. |

Re: Shooting
I will continue to say shooting until OP explains why I shouldn't.

Re: Shooting
I should have been more specific. The word shouldn't be used while you are playing golf. Example: "Hey Barney, what are you shooting on this hole?"
Jack Nicklaus telling a reporter that he "doesn't like shooting 85" is much different. |
