Horse - Ameristar St. Charles
Just wondering if they still spread the 3/6 Horse game on Fridays and Saturdays, or if its only 5/10 now...

Re: Horse - Ameristar St. Charles
I've only seen the 5/10 game going, but I've had a couple of brushes tell me that they'll start an interest list for just about anything before the tables start to fill up on the weekends. I'm guessing they'd start a list for 3/6 HORSE.

Re: Horse - Ameristar St. Charles
The only reason I ask is I've played a 3/6 HORSE game there at the beginning of the year and I was under the impression it was a regular occurance... I'm pretty sure if you can break even on HORS you can murder on E... it was like no one knew how to play at all...

Why not play the 5/10? It's probably the same folks for more money.

Re: Horse - Ameristar St. Charles
I've been thinking about it but I didn't know if it was the same players or what. I guess I'm one of those people that think higher limit means higher calibur of play. I know its prolly not the case but when I've played higher than 5/10 its in my head and I always assume the opponnet has the nutz.
(guess that means I shouldn't huh) Anyone have any info on how much money is on the table at any given time. |

[/ QUOTE ] I've played the HORSE game there at 3-6, 5-10, and 3-6 with overs to 6-12. $1 antes at 3-6 is a funny structure in the three stud games. Ameristar is to be commended for trying to spread this game. A welcome change from rooms filled with all 1-2NL goofs |

And I agree with the last poster: kudos to Ameristar for being willing to spread nonstandard games. I once asked about Crazy Pineapple at Harrah's, and you'd think from the response that I had asked to drop a steamer in the chip tray. |
