you do realize that "pieces" 5 and 6 in that diagram is just one piece, right? if you're describing what I think you're describing, then it's trivial to fix provided that you know a bit about what you are doing (and by this I mean that if you know enough to get to the stage you're already at, then you know enough to fix it) - move an irrelevant piece into that position, and then move that piece back in there but make sure it's aligned correctly this time I don't know how to annotate it but I can do it in my head in 15 twists [/ QUOTE ] oops ya I meant colors are switched not pieces. I'm still kind of a beginner and only know a few shortcuts after the basic 7 steps. Also any tips to get a 3 minute cuber down to say 2? any specific shortcuts you use all the time? |

Re: Rubix Cube enthusiasts? I need an algorithm
Hey, it's been a while since I've done any solving. Here's the algorithm you were looking for (this is with the cross to the right) :
U2 R2 F' U2 F R2 U R' U [ QUOTE ] Also any tips to get a 3 minute cuber down to say 2? any specific shortcuts you use all the time? [/ QUOTE ] I would think when you say 7 steps, that you're using something similar to the beginners solution here: Link Using this solution 2 minutes should be possible with some practice. It also describes the next steps. Learning Friedrichs F2L should be enough to get you close to 1 min. |

Re: Rubix Cube enthusiasts? I need an algorithm
Btw, when I say cross to the right, I ofcourse mean left.
