600NL 55 gs on coordinated flop
this is the second time that villain has made a squeeze like play this session at this table, he could have a real hand here but it seemed like he could be squeeze happy too.
I call the 3 bet pf oop as I think I still have set value odds on average. Flop is pretty scary for a lot of hands so I think I have at least some fold equity here if I CR all in on the flop. I figure his all in calling range is something like 77+ AJss+. I think its a tough call with 88-TT. Vs that range i have 25.5% equity and if he calls 100% of the time I need 31% equity. So I think i have 5.5% fold equity here at least, and if he is squeezing here at all I have a lot more on average. Thoughts? Standard? Too high a variance play? $3/$6 No Limit Holdem 6 players Converted at weaktight.com Profiles and Stacks: UTG (<font color="#0000cc">$695.50</font>) 23.3/14.0/2.0 (<font color="#0000cc">43</font>) UTG+1 (<font color="#0000cc">$627.00</font>) 19.4/14.9/3.0 (<font color="#0000cc">67</font>) Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$1178.60</font>) 21.5/15.0/3.0 (<font color="#0000cc">200</font>) BTN (<font color="#0000cc">$670.00</font>) 26.6/17.5/1.8 (<font color="#0000cc">143</font>) SB (<font color="#0000cc">$572.95</font>) 29.8/18.6/<font color="#cc0000">3.2</font> (<font color="#0000cc">161</font>) BB (<font color="#0000cc">$1188.78</font>) <font color="#008800">46.7</font>/13.7/2.4 (<font color="#0000cc">197</font>) Pre-flop: ($9, 6 players) Hero is CO 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $22</font>, <font color="#777777">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $22, <font color="#cc0000">BTN raises to $85</font>, <font color="#777777">2 folds</font>, <font color="#777777">UTG folds</font>, Hero calls $63 Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($201, 2 players) Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">BTN bets $160</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero goes all-in $1093.6</font> ... |

Re: 600NL 55 gs on coordinated flop
lol, your math doesnt make a bit of goddamned sense. no wonder you watch that show numb3rs. they hire meerkats to write the math on that show.
anyway, your play is OK i guess, you dont have much in the way of folding equity against better hands but your hand is probably good here a nice chunk of the time, plus you have 6 outs twice. 88 is a tough call i agree you could have rolled up aces but hes probably going to go with it. |

Re: 600NL 55 gs on coordinated flop
Given that you called preflop, this is the easiest shove ever, but I'd just shove preflop if you think he's FOS........or you could fold and not be in this gay spot(I know, folding pairs is no fun).
