Default To bet or not to bet

Friend's hand, interested to see what you guys think of it.

Not a whole bunch of hands on villain (~30 or so), but he's like 23/6/.5 or so. Dunno how much weight people attach to that over such a small sample, but at the same time given the ratios and his open limp in this hand, I think it's fairly safe to say he would be a typical donk at this level

Do we like a river bet? And line up to river is standard or no?

I wouldn't bet the turn because he's probably calling with any 9, and probably any 8. As played that's a good river card for you to bluff on but I have no clue if betting $90 is good or not. I mean it SHOULD get something like 96, 97, 98 or a pair and a flush draw to fold.

I like this as a bluff. I think you should bet 100. Villain's most likely holdings are combo draws or missed draws - his turn check/call means he is unlikely to have something to call a big river barrel with, especially given his stats over a small sample.

I also prefer to check the turn back - I think a free card can mean a lot to you here.

I think the turn bet is fine, I doubt we get CR'd very often and I think standard donks fold a lot of their range there anyway. We're obv not bluffing against the missed draws on the river either, just really being lazy and rather than try to work out how often he has something like T7/K7 and folds, figured I'd ask here instead

i would try and check the hand down. we can't valuebet against the draws on the flop, since they are pretty much flipping with us or ahead already, equity wise.

maybe once you check behind on the flop a turn bet isn't that bad, to get a free showdown, but thats as far as i'd go
