I'm not big into this type of food but I think Fugakyu in Coolidge Corner gets awesome reviews.

[ QUOTE ]
The last time I tried to find a Hibachi place I ended up going to a Fondue place. Try the wine cellar on Mass Ave down near Beacon, its very good [/ QUOTE ] I realize this is completely random. My point was Hibachi dining is considered something different usually. As is a Fondue place, so its interesting and fun to try also. Also serves as random recommendation for anyone in Boston |

Not sure about Japanese in Boston, but Brown Sugar is the best Thai place around. [/ QUOTE ] This is a damn dirty lie. It's americanized Thai because apparently people in Boston can't handle anything spicier than a potato. The only place for thai I've found to be semi-decent is Pad Thai Cafe - they will make it spicy to order like they're supposed to. |

do you live in norfolk? [/ QUOTE ] yes guys, I found one. Kiku Yama Teppanyaki Steak House, in Dedham. It was nothing compared to a place like Shintaro in LV or anything, and the service was pretty bad. The sushi and appetizers, however, were great, and the actual teppanyaki (I got steak, others got lobster tuna etc) was fairly good. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something reasonable in the air. Bill was $200 before tip for 5 people, but we got a lot of food although no drinks. |
