Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
No thread up for tonight's game yet so I figured I'd make one. Anyway, it seems like UConn's gotten pretty lucky on turnover margin this year and isn't quite as good as their record would indicate while Louisville's finally getting healthy and when they do that, their offense is unstoppable. Douglas and Urrutia are both expected to play tonight and I think they're going to rip up the Husky secondary.
Louisville -3 at UConn (Risk 1.59u to win 1.56u) |

UCONN ML +141. [/ QUOTE ] Good number. My only holding for this is o62.5 from before the market took a dump on me. Oh well. |

Re: Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
I'm on UConn +146. I'd like to get UConn +3.5 but it doesn't look like that will happen.

Re: Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
Nice ML number, I think 3.5 is long gone. I think the line will drop to 2.5 prior to game, so unless you find a rogue shortly you may have to stick with the ML.

Re: Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
Just saw this on Rx; makes me feel a lot less confident on Louisville:
[ QUOTE ] WEATHER ALERT Indications are that 2-4" are possible beginning at or before rush hour. Slow moving storm. Rainfall 1 - 1.5" per hour possible. Urban flooding in poorly drained areas possible. [/ QUOTE ] FWIW, I already added another unit and a half at -3 (+104). May look to scalp close to gametime if late action comes in on Louisville. |

Re: Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
again these type of games are so risky to bet. Slight road favorite visiting a rival. When push comes to shove you have to favor the home dog. I disagree with you here Iggy, but since I have no action I can sweat with you. GL.

Re: Friday CFB: Louisville at UConn
How square am I that this makes me feel more confident: I went out to lunch today at an Asian place and they brought me a fortune cookie afterward that said "Don't worry about the stock market. Your investment is good." I don't have any regular investments so that has to be talking about the Louisville game. Right? Right?
Also, I wouldn't really consider UConn/Louisville a rivalry in football. UConn was I-AA pretty recently and I don't think they've ever beaten the Cardinals. I really think L'Ville's being undervalued here due to the injuries and the letdown game vs. Syracuse early in the year. There's no way there within 6 points of UConn talent-wise. |

Iggy- Doesn't UConn have some injured players returning as well?
