Re: K-Q on CO
I hate this raise preflop. You have two limpers before you and you only made it 3x BB. IF you were to raise here you should make it like 5x BB since you have two limps before you, so t750 ish...that's if your raising here. I'm probably not raising here. I probably just fold given you don't know where you are in the hand, could be easily dominated, and with the limps you are setting up the button or the blinds to make a move.
Also, in your original post you left out important information. We know the BTN has raised to 900, but how did the limpers before you respond to this? You can't really get a reply until we know that. chrismystero |

Re: K-Q on CO
the most of the time this min re-raise is a hand better than KQ, probbaly you are underdog 4:1. easy fold.
After stack you faced a premium hand here. |

Re: K-Q on CO
KQ is often a difficult hand to play.
your preflop considerations should be mainly about pot-sizes here - UTG limps and has 1700 left, mp2 is the big-stack - the pot when it comes to you is 525 and you have 5300 left. the main problem with KQ is that it's most time an underdog (to any ace, any PP). second problem is if you raise and get a caller or reraiser - you are often dominated. the good thing about KQ is, that it often does quite well in a multiway pot. so in this hand i don't like raising at all - you have two limpers already, who are unlikely to fold - a short-stack and the big-stack. folding KQ is ways too weak here, but i would just flat-call. after you get a reraise from button, who commits but does not shove this is the easiest fold in the world (exception if both limpers call you get irresistable odds and i would call, but if they fold or 4-bet i'm off). |

Re: K-Q on CO
If you raise, please raise more. Like chrismystero said, 750ish is fine. As played, I fold to Villain's re-raise...

Re: K-Q on CO
over limp is okay but be cautious after...your raise was horrible...too little and why are we raising junk here anyway? Value? no...what are we doing if someone limp pushes? as played easy laydown...if we limped and button raised and folded back it gets a little more interesting

Re: K-Q on CO
I'd fold or call PF. Far too likely were behind to raise PF.
As played, fold to the buttons reraise. |
