CO (t1385) Button (t1690) Hero (t1530) BB (t1380) UTG (t1815) UTG+1 (t1005) MP1 (t1500) MP2 (t1730) MP3 (t1465) Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to t150</font>, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero???</font> hi guys, im new to stt. probably a pretty easy spot for most of you, but i was really not sure how to play this. are all options possible??? 1-raising would basically commit him to the pot, so i'd put him all-in and the likelihood of him calling is quite high except he's fos. the question is - do i want to risk a possible flip this early? 2-calling: i dont like it cuz he opened 5x and i will be oop and miss most flops 3-folding: seems too weak. is it really too weak or does anyone fold here?? thx & cheers |

Any reads on villain? I don't think either of the 3 options is horrible here, though calling is probably weakest since you are OOP.

It's really early so for me pushing doesn't sound like a great idea even though it's not bad.
I would fold against a TightPlayer, but I don't think that they are to many TAG's at the $16 so I guess I would flat call here. |

No reads - Coin flipish - calling is not really bad - my choice would be fold or push... Coin flips should be reserved for later. I would painfully fold... My opinion only...
