Prolly standard... (Fuper mega over bet)
I believe i had seen villain shove over a PFR once before after losing a medium sized flip QQ<AK. He'd been quiet for a while after that. On this flop i basically put him on JT/flush draw because just about nobody at this level open shoves a Q.

Re: Prolly standard... (Fuper mega over bet)
meh, tough, I think you can fold but not sure, wouldnt he be more inclined to go for a c/r with some kind of draw or air if he decided to get it all-in to pick up an eventual cont bet? and if you check behind he can just push any turn picking up the same amount of chips as now.

Re: Prolly standard... (Fuper mega over bet)
This scenario was posted on P5's a while back as a hypothetical (it involved QQ, with 2 J's on the flop, 1st hand of the tournament). Everyone said call, you'd have to be an idiot to fold, which led me to try open shoving with huge hands on the flop immediately thereafter, hoping people who read the thread would call, it didn't work.
I'd fold, because the reasons why he can't have a Q here are similar to the reasons why he can't shove for 10X the pot, but he just did. |

Re: Prolly standard... (Fuper mega over bet)
What's standard calling range here? I mean it's tough to call with much worse because say if we have AK or 88 they probably have boatload of outs.
TT+? You guys call with A9? |
