PJ,

Did you really just go to the effort to dodge the censor in the mod forum, or do you have a script that does that?

[/ QUOTE ]

I went through the effort because I'm that annoyed by Jesus freaks, especially after that display at the televised final table yesterday.

Lee Watkinson's girlfriend put me on life tilt.

So TT, you boycott all Jesus-freak-owned establishments? My sister does that too (I only wish I was as good a Jew as you guys).

I just can't bring myself to turn down a juicy double-double and fries simply because the underside of my Coke cup says Revelations 15.

Its not a Jewish thing, I am a total agnositc. I would feel the same way with any religious POV promoted on a consumer product unless it s well known that the company promotes a specific religious POV - then I am oddly more open minded.

I do make one exception - Dr. Bronners Castile Peppermint Soap. 'Ol Doc Bronner was a nutjob, but wow.... thats some amazing soap!

pj,

"J Crew also has layering tees that you can order from their online catalog. Those are good too, but more expensive."

Even though you got yours at some boutique, I'm glad you at least realize that normal guys just buy long sleeve crewneck t-shirts from regular places like J Crew.

TT,

I think it's hilarious when people make moral stands because they are so serious about it, well, except for products they really, really like.

I'm agnostic, this isn't really a moral issue for me. Trust me if I am hungry and want In N' Out I'll eat there but I generally wont go out of my way to patronize a business that promotes hidden religious beliefs.

Dr, Bronners Soap isn't shy about their beliefs, they are very open about their fanaticism. I'm cool with that, just like I am cool about eating at a Hallal or Kosher restaurant. Its only offensive to me when the message is hidden. If your going to try to promote your religious POV then don't be shy about it - be honest with the consumer.

The shirts at my "boutique" were $10, and the ones at J Crew are like $24.

By El Diablo's terms, "normal guys" are getting ripped off.

TT,

Did you hear the one about the agnostic dyslexic insomniac?

He laid awake all night wondering if there really is a dog.
