1st level, no stats yet. I think flop is obviously a bet, but how to continue on the turn? bet again? and how do i react to a raise?
I think i totally misplayed the river... maybe bet/fold is better? I play lower so forgive me if it sounds donkish for this level.
I like to go for a check-raise on the flop here so if called you can basically shove/get it in on the turn. If you want to bet the flop, you should just pot it against 3 opponents on a drawy board imo, 2/3's is far too weak. Turn looks harder to check-raise since 67 got there so I like a strong bet there.. River is pretty sick since KJ got there and looks possible for a donk UTG limp.. Very tough spot but I think I'm still betting here.. unfortunately any bet basically commits us since we only have 1k left so I don't even know if we can fold when reraised. I like to play it a bit stronger on the flop or turn though, so I don't think I have many of these tough river decisions. |

I like the flop and turn though I think at a 16 I v-bet the river (only kj got there) and I think KJ would probably raise your flop bet. C/c is a fine line too, though I would usually fire out 300.

Open fold the flop. That way you won't go on tilt when some donk hits his gutshot on the river after calling any bet you make on the flop and turn, or in this particular case, when he hits kings and jacks.

If you bet the turn, you can definately bet the river.

I think your line is decent on the river.
If you bet/fold he could raise you on the river when he has a hand like K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and now thinks he has the best hand with TP. You also induce some bluffs from hands like AJ or QJ that think you're afraid of the king. And check/call almost guarantees you get to showdown your hand. Check/call and bet/fold both have good points and bad points. |

am i the only one who likes checking the turn? i hate building big pots w/ bottom 2 vs. an utg limper. is this bad reasoning?

What about CR the flop?
How good is bottom two pair on a 4 handed flop in a 16 on a fairly save board? |
