They call me fish
Villain is very loose, but kinda dumb. Do you like my line?

Re: They call me fish
I'd fold and wait until a better spot. You got to be right so often in this situation for it to be profitable.

Re: They call me fish
Wow, what a strange line. Flop min C/R <<yuck>> followed by a turn check behind <<yuck>>. If I were Villian I would be very!! confused. I can't call the river though.
Does he call a flop min c/r with 88/77/66 or overs. I think that you see a set here enough. A9 is also reasonable. River is a fold for me. SMS |

Re: They call me fish
raise to 18-20 on the flop. Why did you check the turn? You should have showed more strenght. I think the only hands you can beat right there is J9 and Q9

Re: They call me fish
You need to raise more on the flop to get him off crap like A5 ...

Re: They call me fish
I don't like the min-raise. I'd raise to $15 at the very least. If he called I'd probably bet that turn (thus I go the whole way) and if he raised the flop I'd lay K9 down. As played I'd never call that river bet as the only hand that you beat is a pure bluff (likely missed low straight) or villain turning a hand with SD value into a bluff which, in fairness, they do a lot....but not often enough here IMHO.

Re: They call me fish
Umm check again. You don't beat J9. Just Q9.
Fold and fold fast. SMS |

Whoa, aggressive call. I hope it worked. Why do you check the turn though?

Re: They call me fish
For you to make this call I'm sure villain must have overbet ai on the river a couple times already. Did he show down any of those times?
