[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Finally, thankfully, and by the Grace of God, I was saved by heroin addiction. [/ QUOTE ] Story? [/ QUOTE ] Oh, yes. There is a story. [/ QUOTE ] I wish you would share it, I'm tired of asking for it. If "boozing" means "having at least one drink every night", then I've had some pretty impressive runs. I'd say my longest run may have been a couple-three years. But recently I've been experimenting here and there with drying up and I feel SO MUCH BETTER the next morning, even way better than mornings where I'd only had a drink or two the night before. It's remarkable. I'm on the cusp of attempting to dry up until Thanksgiving to help lose some weight, that will be the longest drought I'll have had since I turned 21 a really long time ago. |

Re: Consecutive days of boozing?
I drank every day for well over 2 years. I would also say 95% of days between the ages of 18-29.
Nothing too serious just a couple pints a night, most nights. Consistency was my thing |

Re: Consecutive days of boozing?
A friend's dad is a classic boozer - when he gets home from work every night he makes his double whatever and then drinks half or more of a bottle of wine with dinner. Every night, for at least 25 years, probably longer.

Whats the most consecative days you have gone boozing? I drank four days in a row Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I feel like the biggest soak, and going to take a month off of drinking. [/ QUOTE ] About 23 years (I'm old). |

[/ QUOTE ] It's so true, but unfortunately you don't get to feel great the night before . I have no idea how many days I've drank consecutively before if we're counting casual drinking. It's been a couple years since the stretch would have happened and I never really counted. I know that my longest bender was a christmas break home from college where drinking pretty much happened from noon- 2am, and that was maybe 25 days. I was 20, and my parents don't approve of drinking so this was fairly hard to pull off. |

Re: Consecutive days of boozing?
I couldn't even imagine going out every night, not to mention getting drunk every time. I also feel like [censored] when I drink compared to just smoking weed all day long.
When I first got to college I had a two week span where I drank every night but one. Yeah I'm wild. |
