Re: San Diego Suggestions
Downtown San Diego, gaslight district is what it's called I think? Is only happening on weekends, so take advantage of that. Other nights can be pretty dead. Tijuana isn't that far away as well.

Re: San Diego Suggestions
It's called the Gaslamp. There are a ton of bars and restaurants in that area. Fifth Ave. is the main gaslamp street.
I recommend a place called Hash House A Go-Go in Hillcrest for great Brunch. www.hashhouseagogo.com Hoboken Pizza in Pacific Beach is good too. |

Re: San Diego Suggestions
-Bronx Pizza in Hillcrest.
-Dim Sum @ Emerald or Jasmine off of Convoy in Kearny Mesa. -Hash House is unique and fun but be prepared for mega lines and mega portions. |

Re: San Diego Suggestions
I've only ever encountered a line on weekends around noon. I went today, actually. There was no line at 11am on a Thursday. The portions are huge - so be prepared to share.

Re: San Diego Suggestions
I stayed at the Hilton in Gaslamp a month or so ago - got it off hotwire and saved 75% compared to expedia/etc...
I highly recommend going on the aircraft carrier audio tour. Awesome stuff and walking distance from gaslamp. |
