Default Would you respect this bluff?

I have opponent at 25.7/15.8/1.87 over 2k hands. He can tilt and play horrible sometimes. He respects my game, wont play me HU and I run at like 22/18. Hes not tilting right now, and he has never caught me making an excessive amount of bluffs, but he knows I am an agressive player.

No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed)

CO ($138.40)
Hero ($586.15)
SB ($402)
BB ($76)
UTG ($395.90)
MP ($465.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP raises to $14, CO calls $14, Hero raises to $62, 2 folds, MP calls $48, CO folds.

Flop: ($144) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($144) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $99, MP calls $99.

River: ($342) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $342
-300 more to him

the kind of problem with this is that u'd be betting AcKx, AxKc and any overpair with a club on the flop.

I suspect he must have a club to call the turn, and probably a high one since he called your pre-flop raise. I suspect he calls with the K of clubs or better, folds everything else.

Why no bet on the flop incidentally?

This is bad because he obviously has a flush when he calls the turn (maybe a set rarely) and given how this hand went down he is going to be suspicious of your line and look you up with tons of various flushes.

What my buddy said as well. I actually check behind with these hands more then I should. Opponent does not know that, so it might be bad. I thought the line was still credible with a high club that checked the flop and is going for value.

if he has half a brain shouldnt he realize that this is a terrible spot for hero to bluff so he should fold his mid-club?

also why would hero ALWAYS bet AK with a club on the flop?

Not good logic to use, generally. Besides, people don't fold.

without a more significant history no I dont think this is a good bluff, because the "standard line" would be to bet an ace or king high flush draw on the flop esp in a 3 bet pot and he probably knows that. And without a history of really light call downs and/or valuebers I dont see how you can make this size bet for value with out a really good flush.

Agreed, that's why i'd really like your line with any high club in your hand.
Ppl just hate folding flushes in my experience...
