it seems to me like villain has something like TT. I'd call and c/f non-pairing rivers

Wow I really hate this spot.
You could maybe make a case for folding now since even when the board does pair we can't rule out a higher boat, but I'd typically call and shove if the board pairs and c/f unimproved. We're getting like 5-1 on the turn which is about direct odds to pair the board against a straight, so call and re-evaluate river looks good to me. |

At first I was gonna say fold, then call, now fold again. I just cant shake this feeling that he has JJ QQ and he cant put you on a ten because your only plausible hands are TT and AK/AQ(in his mind, maybe not even TT because bad players always put people on AK).
I think in tough spots like this its better to fold because there really is no upside to this hand. He either has the straight and calls a shove on a paired river, or folds it(which I think is more likely because this board is pretty scary), or has a bigger set and stacks you. |
