Making move
Villian is 22.2/17.3/3.8 in about 75 hands. I the 7 orbits hes been at the table he has opened UTG 4 times. Is this a good or bad play by me considering his range.

Re: Making move
I really don't like the 3-bet pre. Villain's stats are pretty solid. You have a hand that has potential to flop well, I really don't see it as a strong PF hand vs. his range.
I would call PF in position and fold on this flop to a bet. I would also fold in a SECOND to his turn bet. What are you thinking here? |

Nothing you would 3-bet with preflop has hit. Yes, the turn is a good scare card, but it doesn't help the type of hands that he'll put you on. I think you'll get called here way too often. |

Re: Making move
Why aren't you making a continuation bet on the flop here? He may fold something as good as 99, or 10-10 to a strong bet on the flop, but I doubt he's folding them to your turn bet.

[/ QUOTE ] I seriously doubt he'd call pf w/99/TT but fold on that flop. I mean, what would be a better flop (besides one with a 9/T)? My guess would be that he calls flop then sees what you do on the turn. |

As played I think you have to at least fire one bullet here. |

Re: Making move
I don't mind the 3 bet PF so much but I hate that you don't c-bet this flop.
Turn play is spew IMO. What 3 bet hand PF would raise this turn? 99 is the only one I can see.... |

My point is that if I were villain I would probably look him up. |

Re: Making move
I don't mind 3-bet as long as you c-bet the flop. What are you trying to represent on the turn??
It's much easier to fold to a raise if you c-bet this flop instead of say, a J82 flop. |
