Lost on every street with TT
Not enough hands on the villain , so far he seems like a tricky TAG

Re: Lost on every street with TT
dont 4 bet preflop because your basically turning your hand into a bluff. As far as the flop its ok, if your planning o folding to a raise make it the least amount that will stop him from bluff shoving. and if you say hes tricky i think you have to call on the river getting more than 3-1 but its not a very good situation

Re: Lost on every street with TT
So, you basically liked the way i played it?
Reasoning behind flop bet was the same you provided - i wanted to bet enough to protect my hand/show that i mean business, but on the other hand not an amount that invites a bluff shove with overs like 150 or so... On the river i just don't know what i can beat even getting huge odds (he knows that i am getting great odds as well).Does he ever bluff like this? |

Re: Lost on every street with TT
3-bet then flop check is always suspicious. I dont mind a check behind on the flop for pot control. Betting flop then checking turn is MUCH weaker to your opponents eye than checking flop then betting turn (and you dont get bluffed as often). He's not bluffing the river, but he might be block-betting 99 or something lower so call and curse your bad luck if he shows AK...

Re: Lost on every street with TT
I think it's prob 75% fold, 25% call.

Re: Lost on every street with TT
I like 4 betting preflop, sure it's kinda turning your hand into a bluff, but a bluff with a lot of value. Postflop will be tough, but here you have a good situation to 4 bet against his decently wide range while you both have deep stacks making life a bit easier for you.
I normally don't bet the flop here. Your stack size might be large enough for it to be ok, but a tricky lag here could very well c/r all in or just c/r w/ AK too. Putting you in an awful situation. If you don't think he's capable of that then it's fine. Turn, fine. River is a fold. He's not value betting 99 and it's just so so rare you'll find anyone bluffing with AQ for $300 into $800, and you can't raise him off AK. |

Re: Lost on every street with TT
You could easily have a 6 here, and the turn check behind reinforces that idea. He's blocking....bluff raaaaaisssssseeeeeee.

If you bet the flop you probably need to call a crai

Re: Lost on every street with TT
as played i would prob fold river.....if he's a tricky tag I like 4 betting pre....even in pos. 1010 can put you into tough a spot on almost any flop
