Re: Race to get it in?
don't like the preflop at all, completing is not my thing tho, i'd fold to his raise oop with a v.marginal hand
on the river i check and call, induced bluffs and valuebets from pair/2pair type hands as played i think yoju have to call the river 130$ in the pot 30 to call but it does look a lot like you're beat, he must know he has no FE, but i think he assumes his 2 pair type is good enough to make the river call and example of bad preflop play leading to a horrible situation |

Re: Race to get it in?
Fold to BB raise preflop.
Fold flop. 6 outs aren't enough in this situation. Did he have Q10? |

Re: Race to get it in?
Raise or fold pf (90% fold).
I think the flop isn't all that bad, I mean you might as well play your hand and try and win the pot, although this is why playing hands OOP (esp draws) sucks. Rasie more on the flop tho ($10?) Erm turn sucks SO badly. He is not folding better. Check call river al day long. You will induce bluffs and lose less when he has flush. As played river is obv a call. Edit: He is not folding better than what he percieves your hand to be. |

Re: Race to get it in?
Hmm... I call the preflop raise easily. 170BB deep with a relatively well-disguised hand, yep, I call. Of course, I raise this in the first place.
The flop is fairly good for us. We have 7-7.5 outs, not just 6. We are HU after all. Raising the flop is good. Calling to raise the turn may be a good option as well? I think the turn is meh as played. I may lead for less though, maybe 1/2 pot. I think that is enough to get him to fold if he fears a flush. Check/call river. |

Re: Race to get it in?
OOP with very drawy hand, I hate calling preflop.
We cant really count potentially flush outs as our straight outs can we? Raising flop isn't a bad play, maybe a little more. But standard is folding imo. Calling to raise the turn isn't bad because our hand has little showdown value and very low equity (on this turn), which obviously means its easy to muck if raised and we have outs if called. |
