Ultimate Bet 200K, Final Table...
9 players remain. 9th pays $3500, 8th pays $5000, 7th pays $7000, first pays $47,000.
I am the short stack at 98,000. Leader is at 600,000 and second short stack is 134,000. The rest are 160,000 to 330,000. Blinds are 10,000/20,000 with 1000 ante so the starting pot is 39,000. Folds to me in CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Is there any doubt about what to do? Do reads or stack sizes of the three players left in the hand matter? Does the location of second short stack matter? |

Nothing matters in this spot but your M, which is like 2.7, making your hand the Noodley McBooders in this spot. I wouldn't exactly fistpump here, but I would definitely say "chuss".

[ QUOTE ] i shove, and as im shoving wonder how i got this short to begin with [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the replies, this was close to a BBV post. I shoved of course and button called with JJ and SB shoved with QQ. I almost pulled it out when three hearts hit the flop but one of those hearts was a J and none came on the turn or river. Button took us both out so I guess luck comes into play even in a big MTT at the final table. That was a multi-thousand dollar J on the flop for button. FWIW, I had over 200K in the second to final table and took on two shorter stacks in consecutive hands as 75% and 80% favourites and lost both showdowns (one of them was final table button as well, grrr). |

easy push, you have a great hand for situation. stack sizes wouldn't matter to me I'm pushing not caring if I'm called.
