109 DeepStack: Passive TPTK 3-way

Do I need to raise here? UTG+1 has been ABC my image should be about the same. MP2 has been more spewy and people tend to go nuts in these when they're M begins to drop (which is dumb obv). Plan was to C/R AI vs MP2 if UTG+1 folded (standard?), but against an EP raiser this deep on this board I decided my first goal should be to just get closer to showdown as cheaply as possible. If you agree thus far, what's the turn plan? |

Re: 109 DeepStack: Passive TPTK 3-way
I think you have to make a decision on the flop.
If you are already beaten by AA,KK,AK and you plan to get to a showdown it won't be cheap, but will cost all of your chips - after the flop pot is 3150 - turn bet will be around 2000-2500, pot on the river will be at least 7150 (if one of the two villains fold) and you will have 5000 left. So the simple question is - is your ace good here? I don't think so - an UTG raise followed by a check/call on this board is very likely a slowpalayed monster, so I would fold on the flop (against an ABC-player i migh have folded preflop). |
