3/6 absurd JJ spot
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $3/$6 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $868.65 BB: $714.45 UTG: $340.00 UTG+1: $818.20 MP: $587.10 CO: $453.00 Hero (BTN): $1,199.10 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7 Players) UTG raises to $18.00, UTG+1 calls $18.00, MP raises to $54.00, CO calls $54.00, Hero calls $54.00, 2 folds, UTG calls $36.00, UTG+1 folds Flop: ($243) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG checks, MP checks, CO bets $42.00 wtf CO is a mediocre player that I don't have a strong read on aside from the fact that he's mediocre MP was 30/15 or so and my limited experience suggested he was straightforward and kinda LAG and I felt he was giving up with AK here UTG was also sorta LAG but I had no read on his tendencies |

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
anyone just pitch this pf? I'm not in the habit of coldcalling 9bb with JJ since that's kinda similar to just igniting physical currency, but with CO coldcalling ahead of me I thought I might be able to stack both him and MP if I hit. I'm not closing the action though. meh

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
Did you think at all about 4 bet squeezing preflop since the 3 bettor is a 30/15 LAG?

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
I'm more worried about CO but MP's range here should be given some respect too. 30/15 means he just calls pf quite a bit, and he's not in a great spot to squeeze with a bad player raising utg.

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
Man this is absurd. I don't know what I was expecting, but this is pretty sick. I really hate folding for this little, and I think CO can have 77-KK here really. I'd probably try to peel, because I think you're ahead of CO's range although very slightly, but can't see any way a raise gets value and any real raise commits you. I really think posting this in MSNL will be better for you in terms of responses.

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
I'd call this... too many things can happen to say what I would do after that with certainty.
Preflop seems okay, depending on the players we could fold. |

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
My default play when someone makes a bet like that is to jam the pot. You get burned once in a while but, it seems to win way more than it loses. True at the higher levels?

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
I'm not sure if that would be a bluff or for value or just to protect my hand.
I was quite confused. |

Re: 3/6 absurd JJ spot
the pf call was for set value and u haven't hit, so you should fold, the bet is ridiculous, i'm calling but i don't think i'll call any further bet ui.
