Re: A story about my grandpa
Guids,
Great story. It brought back some very fond memories (too long and personal to share) of both of my late grandfathers. Thanks. |

Fantastic story guids, I love how out of nowhere grandpa's can nonchalantly make the most awesome comments that no one else could get away with.

Fantastic story guids, I love how out of nowhere grandpa's can nonchalantly make the most awesome comments that no one else could get away with. [/ QUOTE ] Anyone in a hospital can get away with saying pretty much anything, especially when drugged. Once I was being wheeled in for some X-Rays, was heavily drugged, and a nurse told the other one "watch out for the cable." Me: "Hey lady, wanna see my cable?" Later on: "Will someone get this fat bitch out of here?" Both brought a lot of laughter, though I was dead serious the second time. To get back on topic, though, my grandfather didn't need to be in a hospital to say things that were way out of line. Upon finding out that I had a Chinese girlfriend, he asked: "Is her pussy slanted too?" Me: "No." I didn't know what else to say. |

Re: A story about my grandpa
nice.
my mom's dad was very hard of hearing. He and my mom went to my uncle's divorce hearings. My uncle is being questioned and is asked a question that, if he answers truthfully, will make him look bad. My mom said it had been kinda noisy in the courtroom and after this question was asked it got a bit quite. She said my grandpa leaned over to her and "whispered" where everyone, including the judge could hear, "I don't know about him, but nows about the time I'd start lyin'." |
