Hero CO 3k+ VillainA EP 3k loose passive perfect VillainB Button $480 loose pf but has always had a hand postflop PF-VillainA limps I make it 50 w/ AKcc both Call Pot-$165-Flop Ks9d4s VillainA checks I bet $120 both call Pot-$525-Turn 6s/completing flush VillainA checks--I?? I don't like this spot and it seems to come up so often. vs Villain A this is an easy bet but Villain B will only call/raise with better. |

don't be ridiculous, bet enough to set the short stack in and let villain A come along for the ride with whatever. even if the former has you beat you're getting a great overlay from the station and can probably make some up on the river too

if you can v-bet a blank river vs villain A then bet here so you can build a sidepot if shorty has you beat

Any bet by hero commits hero to playing VillainB for his stack when drawing thin to dead. I find loosepassives wont call a PSB vs 2 opponents light. Therefore betting also increases the liklyhood villainA doesn't come along if B pushes over a small bet or calls a big bet.
I think the real mistake was on the flop and I should have bet much bigger. |
