Default Is someone trying to bum me?

i got this email today from the FORUM MASTER:

[ QUOTE ]
Someone from the ip address '90.157.194.25' requested a temporary
password for the Login Name 'raju' for the website 'The 2+2 Forums'. This
is a temporary password that can be used if you have forgotten your
original password. If you did not request this, please ignore this
message.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, so i didnt request this so i can ignore the email but who the hell did request it and why? -the IP address means nothing to me.

I fully expected to find myself banned for something i didnt post when i came on here tonite.

Anyone got any experience of this sort of thing?

also,

Brag: somebody i never heard of deposited monies into my neteller a/c the other day (thankyou).

The moderators have a tool whereby they can request a password change for a user. I'm not very familiar with that tool, but it might generate a message like that. To be safe, I'd change your password and check your PM box for any sensitive information.

the person who tried to do that uses an ISP, "amis.net" which is located in slovenia.

here's a map of where slovenia is: http://www.ip2state.com/map.asp?s=ip...;ses=810630997

He probably typed in the wrong username, or forgot whether he made an account. Raju is a fairly common name.

groan. i am truly rubbish at this global language thing.

would "is someone trying to shaft me" work? or "screw me over"?

i accept none of it is eloquent.
