How high of a winrate is possible at 2/5?
What do you think the highest possible winrate is for someone who can solidly beat 10/25 NL at say 1/2 or 2/5? I thought there was a limit at like 30 BB/100 hands, but now I realize I can go way higher than that. I think I can push 75 BB/100 at 1/2 or 2/5. I am going try an experiment at 2/5 where I try to beat the game for the most possible. Just focus on trying to outplay the players even worse than is neccesary to beat it for a large amount. This will work particuarly well if the table gets shorthanded and/or deepstacked. Obv a big emphasis on ultra thin value bettng, since the donks at this level call down so much stuff. How many BB/100 hands do you think I can get to? FWIW, I can beat 10/25 NL for ~15 BB/100 and prolly beat a soft Commerce 20/40 NL for like ~5 BB/100.

just by readin that u tryin to measure live winrates per 100 hands i'll say u can't beat a live 2/5 @ all.

Re: How high of a winrate is possible at 2/5?
As Julio said, most live players measure winrates in $/hr or BB/hr.
Assuming 30 hands/hr, your talkin about 4-5BB/hr at 10/25. A player of this caliber would be most likely be able to beat 2/5 for at least 10BB/hr (30-35BB/100). Depending on many variables, 15BB/hr or more may be within reach. Also, a 1/2 game that plays as big as most 2/5 games would presumably be beatable for 20+BB/hr |
