Speaking of River CRs... 109fo 6max
Quick line check in a not so interesting spot. Villain was 20/10/2.5 over 80ish hands... not sure if that even factors in.
Blinds at 40/80. I have KdQd in the CO. UTG+1: RAZITUP2007 (16,000) CO: KramerTM (4,430) SB: redge3068 (5,100) BB: PAYME100000 (3,160) UTG+1 opens for 160, I call right behind, BU folds, blinds call. Flop comes 9s3cJc. Checked around. Turn comes 7h. Checked around again. River comes Qs. Checked to me. I bet half pot (320) figuring tons of hands will pay me off. UTG+1 makes it 960 and I fold. Again, it's simple, but I used to always call this and chalk it up to "if he can check that river with a straight, more power to him," never really sensing it was right. So who wins? The new me or the old me? |

Re: Speaking of River CRs... 109fo 6max
I don't give a random credit for being able to c/r bluff a river, and his bet sizing really looks like it wants a call. that said I can't put him on a hand that plays this way but I like the fold and do the same.

Snap fold.
Would be a weird/stupid way to bluff, w/o any good reason to. Plus unknowns are pussies. |

My gut reaction is that the old you (who calls that raise) is the more profitable one. If that's wrong, I leak big.

Really weird play by villain, considering you were the only one left to act after he checked.
I'd fold, but this could be a stupid bluff. |
