Re: Who is better to play in the stars STT pro tourneys
Tom McEvoy has a 5% ROI at an average buyin of 138 $ according to sharkscope. He sure knows the strategy for STTs. I think you have to pick one who is less motivated than the others to play in these tourneys. Its a duty for these guys to play and sometimes they just like to donk around and not take it too serious. Didnt observe these tourneys to tell who falls into this category.

Re: Who is better to play in the stars STT pro tourneys
This is strictly wild speculation on my part based on TV hands, limited hands posted on 2+2 at times, and once playing a live super sat final table with Raymer.
Best to Worst at STTs: 1) McEvoy (He seems to be such an MTT nit that his style might accidently make him good.) 2) Hachem (He's got a great poker mind and seems tighter than Raymer or MM.) 3) Raymer (I think he's a great poker player but from what I've seen of his "recent" STT hands he suffers from FPS and general tendency to LAG.) 4) Moneymaker (I'm always left scratching my head when I see him play anything. Best was Wiggs stacking him at NL cash.) |

i don't know who'd be the best, but i'd lay odds moneymaker being the worst.

Re: Who is better to play in the stars STT pro tourneys
so consensus is moneymaker huh cool thanks guys. Also does anybody know whether you can choose who to play monthly or they just take it in turns each month? I have had a look on pokerstars but it doesnt seem to say?

Re: Who is better to play in the stars STT pro tourneys
What's the equivalent buy-in level of play at these and are they a good use of FPPs?
