Re: poker results thing: if it's a friend of mine that asks me relatively often, I don't mind getting into numbers, because he's gonna know about my big losses too, and knows to look at it from the right perspective.

If it's someone that doesn't know me that well, I have adopted a new policy of not telling them anything and avoiding the subject altogether.

Bytor,

Edit: BTW I think the Heinekins are a douche mark as well.

And all our lives we were led to believe that people around the world liked our beer! BTW It's HeinekEn, douche!

Actually it's considered OK, but not that good. In fact, I'd say it has the same status in Holland as Bud/Miller/Coors in the US.. so yeah, I can see how that makes you an idiot for thinking you're all sophisticated and all for having import beer that's still relatively crappy.

You don't get it. I know its an import, I know it sucks, I know I spelled it wrong (but i didn't know how to spell it). Its a douche mark for those guys because they're drinking a still-crappy beer thats supposed to make them look "cool" or "sophisticated". Personally, I don't like it, but this has nothing to do with taste. So please step off your high horse Mr. Holland.

Whoa, the 'douche' comment was a joke, man! And read the last sentence again, it wasn't directed at *you* directly. Sorry about my crappy English skills, I tried to make the same point you did.

Actually, does anyone know where that picture comes from? Because that hair style was kind of popular in Holland a few years back, we had some celebrities that looked like that. Hair gel or whatever it is they use in general is in more widespread use than in the US.
