Tourneys under $100 in SoCal
Does anyone know where in Southern California I could find any good NLHE tournaments with a buy-in of under $100?
By "good" I mean resonable field of great to terrible players, good starting stack to inital blind ratio (like 100-200BB to start) and as far as rebuys go, I prefer freezeouts, but I'm not opposed to tourneys with a fixed number of rebuys or rebuys only in the first hour or so. Thanks for your help! |

Not much going on for <100. The Bike has 30+10 at 1 , and 50+10 at 7. Pays final two tables. 5-10 blinds to start, 800 stack fields of 175ish the few times i have played. Terrible players, topheavy payout.

There are daily (except Friday) sub $100 NLHE tourneys in Oceanside at Oceans 11.

Thanks all. I think the nightly tourney at the Bike sounds like its the closest to what I'm looking for.

Re: Tourneys under $100 in SoCal
I've played those tourneys at the Bike before. I feel like even though the blinds start at 5-10, that 800 is hard to work with considering some of those all in every hand the first couple rounds players.
I'd stick with the Hawaiian Gardens tourneys for <$100 if I was there. In my experience, they've been more manageable with typically better players. |

Really? I live closest to HG and have never played a tourney there. What is the usual blind structure and starting stack like?
