Default flopped flush- monsters under the bed?

I've only been at table an orbit so no reads. I rarely think too much about folding a flopped flush for 100bb but villains line is pretty suspicious to me. And I min-bet the flop b/c I thought it would induce a raise.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $50.00
BB: $45.65
UTG: $18.10
CO: $49.70
BTN: $52.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks

Flop: ($2) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB folds, CO raises to $1.00, BTN calls $1.00, Hero raises to $6.00, CO calls $5.00, BTN raises to $11.00

Odds of two flopped flushes is tiny, plus you can 1-out him if you really need to.

Button probably has a set or a flopped straight, maybe a retarded two pair sometimes. I'd just shove over button's 4bet and hope the board didn't pair.

Please don't min-donk this flop, even to induce a raise. You are giving anything with a diamond above a 6 the direct odds to suck out on you.

You have a vulnerable, great hand -- turn can kill your action or your hand, you'll only be happy getting it in on the flop often. Bet out 1.5 to full pot and hope you're raised.

i forgot to say in my OP that although I have no reads on the button,I knew for a fact from playing with CO before that if I bet small he would raised almost always. Still I'm not sure if that's the best line, but no one would fold even though button is basically screaming he has a monster right?

Actually, I think it's pretty likely button has a better flush here. What the hell else is he calling the original minraise with and then min4betting over a caller? Particularly since OP's entire line says "ACTION PLEASE." That doesn't really look like something a set or the naked Ad does, and this whole line would be pretty weird for AA with the diamond. I mean, I guess the pot is already big enough that you can hope he'll have something goofy a good chunk of the time, but I might actually fold this.

Assuming stupidity might be a better policy, but I just get the feeling that when this kind of thing happens to me I usually see a better flush.

EDIT: Of course, the only reason you get to see this weird action is because of your weird flop bet. Ordinarily by the time you put in that third bet you're going to be committed even if it's not all in.
