Bet $40. What's this guy doing calling your PF raise with a lone five? (Pocket fives are horribly unlikely here.) For that matter, if he has pocket queens, kings, or aces, why isn't he raising? I could see this play with something like AJ or KJ.

40.

If he raises, we are most of the time behind (perfect board to slowplay JJ+). I don't think he will bluff with underpair so often.

And don't like your PF call, especially oop.

I think you're all right about betting the turn. At the time, I thought about his range (which I think has me in trouble), and decided to ck cl the turn with the intention of ck folding the river.

Promptly after checking, I decided my plan sucked.

What is the river plan if a turn bet is called?

That's fair, what do you prefer?

My thought on the flop was that I'm happy to get it in with the short BB. Leading through someone into a pfr on the flop is often perceived as strength, and I can get some information on MP's hand if the BB comes along and so does he.

I c/c quite a bit in spots like this, but the trouble with this plan occurs on the turn. Against an unknown, I have no idea about their propensity to double barrel. What's the plan there?
