Default Fold top set against tightie?

Villian was never out of line in the 100 or so hands we played. He is running at 13/11/2.7. I have never seen him c/r river or for that matter make any big raises. A few hands before, I bluffed with a missed draw and got called by 88 by another nit. Not sure whether villian is paying attention though.

Doesn't look like there are any obvious straights. The only hand I can think of is A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Thoughts?

He folded every hand I bet before this and I thought I will give him a free card on the flop. Agree that the turn raise was small.

I folded the river. Do you think I should have checked against this kind of player? He is not paying me off with not many worse hands.

This hand was played horribly. As played river is an obvious fold, but flop and turn make me wanna puke. Why would you ever check this flop?? I could maybe understand if the flop was like j52r but you have obvious straight/flush draws out there and you will often get played back at. The turn raise is waaaaaay too small. Checking behind on this river is god awful as well. Sorry if I came off as harsh here but these are spots where you NEED to be maximizing value, and you did basically the exact opposite of that.

I [censored] KNOW! The guy ever never called my flop bet in all the hands we tangled. He was an ultra nit.

Flop hits his range perfectly. Bet flop, bet turn, shove river. Game over.
