Re: Official Other Sites Regulars Thread(UB, Abs, etc): Part II
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] thoughts on my buddy Ace0fSpades? [/ QUOTE ] incredibly nitty (this coming from me who plays like 16/13 at NL50 usually) this hand was quite bad (from today i believe) Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $130.00 BB: $84.30 UTG: $76.70 BTN: $12.65 Preflop: is dealt (4 Players) UTG raises to $1.75</font>, 2 folds, BB calls $1.25 Flop: ($3.75) (2 Players) BB bets $2.50</font>, UTG raises to $11.25</font>, BB raises all-in to $82.55</font>, UTG calls all-in for $63.70 Uncalled bet of $7.60 returned to BB Turn: ($153.65) (2 Players - 2 All-In) River: ($153.65) (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $153.65 ($2 Rake) UTG had (a pair of jacks) and WON (+$74.30) BB had (a pair of sixes) and LOST (-$76.70) [/ QUOTE ] Just for the record, I am not AceOfSpades on UB, but I do know this player pretty well. I saw that hand go down and he actually played it pretty well: Board: 6s 2c 5c Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 47.929% 47.47% 00.45% 470 4.50 { JdJs } Hand 1: 52.071% 51.62% 00.45% 511 4.50 { 8c6c } Bad call by JJ, if anything. |

o, so its profitable to call raises OOP w/ 68s? [/ QUOTE ] Well, I guess this shows that he's not a nit. Also, you have to consider that he is very deepstack and is up against a bad player that he is comfortable playing postflop against. You can't be so rigid with preflop hands. |

[/ QUOTE ] the problem is, I doubt he's playing 68s oop for anything but 2pr, trips, or big draw it's just not profitable the b/3b line here is std. draw from a nitty regular and yep, JJ getting 1.5:1, terrible call |

Also, I tend to play a looser style (semi-LAG) and I can definitely tell you that having a wider preflop range makes stacking regs that can't fold overpairs really easy. I think a big draw is the low end of his range in this spot, you're lucky you were only a slight dog. |

[ QUOTE ] Anyone else play on Crypto?? [/ QUOTE ] people i have the most hands on in crypto: sisp00 - used to play like 6tables for about 20hours a day, havnt seen him too much lately though. really tight, got quite a good idea of how he plays now (7k hands, none datamined) pony111 - constantly thinks im bluffing Nqon - seems decent but not too bad to play against hh1982 - when i first saw him he was mental and awfully bad... seems ot have changed though. still far too passive Do you datamine crypto? havnt quite worked out how to yet lol [/ QUOTE ] Nah I'm pretty sure you can't since have to be dealt in to get hand history. Will check out the PT database later for these guys! |
