Default 2-5 NL live game, KK facing hudge reraise

Last night at a soft 2-5 NL game.

I have red kings in MP, raise to $20. BB calls.

Flop 9 4 4 rainbow. Check, I bet $80, he makes big reraise to $250.

My read: not much, older guy, seems pretty tight, not an idiot. He told a story about being in a tournament and going all in with AK on the first hand and losing to AA. He had pushed KK all in against AA earlier in the night and flopped a K, but who could get away from that?

While I was tanking, he seemed very confident and not worried.

What do I do here? Argg...

assuming avg stacks + including reads, i can see a fold here. looks like 44 a lot.

if anything vil. does not have 44.

I would like to know how quickly he cr'd the flop, stack sizes, and your image. these are important in this hand.

He announced his raise almost immediately and pushed out the bet with no hesitation.

IIRC, I had about $600 in front of me and he had me way covered, having doubled up when his KK > AA earlier.

Not sure about my image, tight aggressive probably. The regulars think I am a strong player, but this is the first time this guy's seen me.

Also, my edit didn't change the flop. It was always 9 4 4 rainbow.

You opened for 2x the pot on the flop?

I think there was a straddle and a call or two before my raise, so the pot was $70-80, IIRC. I may have overbet a little but not by much.
