Level of thinking
Simple question, what is the level of thinking, in general,of NL 5/10c players out there
Zeroth: what i have 1st: what i think he has 2cnd: what i think he thinks i have 3rd: what i think he thinks i think he has etc Im reading some theory about the concept in No limit Holdem: Theory and practice and was wandering what was the best level to be or other ways to determine which one best applies to a situation |

Re: Level of thinking
well you should mostly be on level 1, as most players at 10nl are at level 0. but occasionally you'll run into some regs who somewhat think level 1.

Re: Level of thinking
It just depends. With PT and pahud, you can differentiate between players more quickly, and use 2nd or 3rd level thinking against good tags or lags, and 1st level against fish. That's really the way to do it, judge by player, not by level. You'll use every level of thinking all the way up the poker ladder (just against different types of players).
