Re: Easy or tough spot with two pair
Check/fold turn hand 1 btw.
Hand 2 fold. If he doesnt raise an overpair, what does he raise? Either he has insta-adjusted against you or he has you crushed. You being crushed is more likely. |

nah you're toast here, muck em [/ QUOTE ] I agree, i think its a fold but i dont know if i would make this fold in the game. His most likely hand imo is JT. He would prolly rr AA/QQ- 99 is less likely do to you having one and I guess AQ is a possibility. The only hand that you are beating is a badly palyed AK, because i cant see this villan raising with anything worse |

Re: Easy or tough spot with two pair
ejay,
Given the reads of hand 1, can we be sure villain would play AK remotely like this? |

ejay, Given the reads of hand 1, can we be sure villain would play AK remotely like this? [/ QUOTE ] probably not, but if he is thinking about calling thats the only thing that he MIGHT see that he is beating, i guess another hand would be A8 but i dont see a 17/11 playing that pf |

Re: Easy or tough spot with two pair
Check/fold turn hand 1 yep.
Hand 2 don't think is a clear fold. Hero playing identical to hand 1, doubt opponents get any read other than similar range. The reraise could've been a bluff. I think this is one of the rare occasions(for me anyway) where call/see river is best option. Any diamond, A/K/Q/J/10/9 could all severely scare the villain into not shoving if you just checked the river. Or if you bet out strong or shove, surely that's a better spot to do so than the turn "instapush" you suggested. |

Re: Easy or tough spot with two pair
Another important factor that imo is way to neglected, is that players tend not to bluff right after scooping in a big pot, especially not against the same villain.
